About the Event
Most people just see yoga as physical movement, but yoga is all about self-observation. The yoga postures are to help you observe the movements of your body, and the Yamas and Niyamas are to help you observe the movements of your mind. The Yamas and Niyamas allow us to better be aware of our daily actions - both the actions you take toward yourself and toward others.
This Yamas and Niyamas Self-Study group is fomratted like a typical book club; but instead of reading a new book every month, all year long we are studying The Yamas and Niyamas by Deborah Adele! Each month we dive into this book, chapter-by-chapter to apply either a Yama or a Niyama into our lives.

Each gathering we bring treats and fill the space with new thoughts, perspectives, and experiences that we've had in the prior weeks.
